• It is an instrument to measures the concentration of an aqueous (coolant) solution by measuring its refractive index.
• All water based solution can make light bend which the bending of light increase at a rate proportional to the increasing of solution concentration.

MEASURING RANGE :

• M – 10 : 0 – 15%
• MDT : 0 – 15%
• Minimum Scale = 0.5%
