Description
DESCRIPTION :
MP-240 neat cutting oil designed for very hard machining operations on ferrous metals. Particularly suitable for machining operations on carbon steels, high alloy steels and stainless steels. Excellent anti-wear and extreme pressure performance, preventing the formation of built-up edges and increasing the life time of the equipment.
APPLICATION :
MP-240 is a low viscosity, neat cutting oil based on the highest quality virgin mineral base oils and lubricity additives. It is a water-white colour and does not stain yellow metals, such as brass or copper. Due to its low odour, this product is extremely acceptable to operators.
The very low viscosity, combined with enhanced lubricity, is designed for applications requiring a good flushing action, along with good wettability and heat removal properties. MP-240 was developed for general machining applications on cast iron, but can also be used for machining non-ferrous metals such as aluminium.
